  Major emergencies and disasters require knowledgeable and capable leaders to guide organizations and communities through the complexities of responding to and recovering from tragedy. The Emergency Management Program is designed to prepare future and current emergency managers to meeting the challenges of tomorrow’s disaster. Students may choose form the diploma or associate's degree program depending upon their goals. At the completion of the program, students will have achieved many of the required prerequisite courses for the Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) Certified Emergency Manager credential.
