Virtual classes are a great way to access live GED
and English Language Acquisition classes from home. By using your computer, tablet, or smartphone, you can access your scheduled class from wherever you are. As this is a live class, there are no difficult independent study assignments as in other types of online learning. Instead, you can ask questions, hold class discussions with other classmates, and work out problems with instant feedback. How nice is it to turn on your webcam and show your math work to your instructor, or take a snapshot of your essay outline and send it by email? For those who cannot find childcare, transportation, or travel time, virtual classes are a great way to stay committed to reaching their educational goals. Are you ready to get started? Just follow these steps:
Adult Education Center
site near you to register for virtual classes and complete a pre-test. This will be the center you will return to for post-testing, GED
practice tests, on-site computer labs, and tutors.
Upon registration at your center, you will receive a welcome email from your instructor with log-in instructions. Simply follow the directions to log in to your class at the scheduled class time. Be ready to take notes or work out problems with the rest of the class!
You will be advised about post-testing, GED
practice tests, how to schedule your GED
test, college and career preparedness, and general advancement in the course.
For further details, please contact your local Adult Education Center, or write Mr. Shannon Cole at
