The Technical College System of Georgia Work Ethics program is designed to promote
positive work behaviors and to prepare students to be better, more productive workers.
Evaluation is based on the following identified set of ten work ethics traits: Attendance,
Character, Teamwork, Appearance, Attitude, Productivity, Organization, Communication,
Cooperation, and Respect.
Grandfather Clause: Students enrolled in any credit course prior to Fall Semester
2013 are deemed to have successfully completed the Work Ethics Program through the
demonstrated attainment of a Work Ethic grade of 2 higher.
