  Motorsports Vehicle Technology
  The Motorsports Vehicle Technology offers a blend of hands-on, trackside, and classroom training which prepares students to work in the challenging and rewarding fields of the Motorsport Industry. In our shop and classroom students learn all facets of racecar development including suspension set-up, fabrication, welding, machine tool, carbon fiber lay-up, engine builds and tuning, transmission and differential builds, general racecar repairs, testing procedures, racecar electronics, data acquisition, trackside procedures, and many other industry protocols.

Radiologic Technology
Radiologic Technology
The Radiologic Technology program is a sequence of courses that prepares students for positions in Radiologic departments and related businesses and industries. Learning opportunities develop academic, technical, and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. The program emphasizes a combination of didactic and clinical instruction necessary for successful employment. Program graduates receive a Radiologic Technology Associate of Applied Science Degree, and are eligible to sit for the national certification exam to become a registered radiologic technologist. The exam is administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.

04/23/2019 - Register to Vote! Hall County Campus [+]
This year we will have a Voter’s Registration Drive. Hall County Elections will be at the Hall County Campus on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Breeden-Giles Hall Lobby. Each year, thousands of Georgians play an important role in our democracy by participating in the electoral process by casting their vote. Lanier Technical College knows our students are extremely busy we have made arrangements for the voter’s registration to come to us!
To register to vote in the State of Georgia, you must:
• Be a citizen of the United States.
• Be a legal resident of Georgia and of the county in which you vote.
• Be at least 17 ½ years of age.
• Not currently serving any sentence imposed by the conviction or felony involving moral turpitude.
• Not have been judicially determined to be mentally incompetent.

05/02/2019 - Work Opportunity Investment Act (WIOA) - Hall County [+]
Danielle Avelar, our GA Mountain Workforce Development representative, will be on campus to provide an orientation for students who want to apply for funds to help them through college. Call the GA Workforce Development office at 770-531-4043 for more information or if you are interested but unable to make this meeting. Depending on eligibility, students may receive funds for tuition, books, supplies, and travel.
This meeting will be held at the Hall County Campus on Thursday, May 2nd, in the Breeden-Giles Building SGA Conference Room. There will be two sessions:
Session 1: 8:00 am to 9:00 am
Session 2: 9:00 am to 10:00 am
Come and learn what it is all about. This is free grant money that does not have to be paid back!
