This 2 day (16 Hour) course is designed to familiarize maintenance staff in the operation of the ControlLogix PLC platform, use of the Studio 5000 Logix Designer software, and techniques for troubleshooting faults. The goals of this course are to teach skills to upload and download programs, troubleshoot PLC hardware faults, and troubleshoot PLC digital I/O circuit faults.

This 4-day course, is designed as an introduction to Allen-Bradley Controllogix systems’ hardware, Rockwell Software’s project and communications structures, and the applications possible for industry. Concepts are presented that highlight essential techniques and building blocks of Rockwell Automation’s Studio 5000 Logix Designer software. The guiding objective is to help the participant become proficient in using Studio 5000 for developing control solutions that utilize ControlLogix or CompactLogix controllers, and to develop the critical skills necessary for troubleshooting existing projects.
