Proctored Testing Services

Lanier Technical College’s Economic Development Division offers proctored testing services for professional development, license certifications, indication of job skill readiness, program admission, and pre-employment screening, as well as computer-based GED exams. The Economic Development division maintains testing labs in Deal Hall on the Hall Campus and has access to testing facilities at the College’s other campus locations.

ACT WorkKeys

Testing to measure "real-world" skills that local employers find critical to job success in the areas of Applied Math, Graphic Literacy, and Workplace Documents. Schedule testing and pay in advance to hold your test date.


A subsidiary of Pearson Vue, Certiport offers Nationally recognized certifications from Adobe, CompTIA, Microsoft, and Quickbooks.


Authorized National Occupational Competency Testing Instrument (NOCTI) Area Testing Center.

Pearson Vue

Pearson Vue offers many Nationally recognized certifications and licensures such as; Cisco, CompTIA, Nclex, Oracle, CIW, VMware, GED, and NREMT. Pearson Vue is also the exclusive provider of Microsoft Certified Professional exams.

Pest Control Exams

Exams required by the state of Georgia for all employees who make inspections, propose treatments, apply control procedures, or for any company or self-employed individual engaged in commercial pesticide applications. Exams offered are: Commercial Applicators Examination, Employee Registration Examination, and Certified Pest Control Operator Examination.


Refrigerating Engineers and Technicians Association (RETA) testing available for the Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator (CARO) and Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator (CIRO).


Pre-admission exam required for Dental Hygiene, Physical Therapist Assistant, Practical Nursing, Radiologic Technology, and Surgical Technology programs.
