In order to better support our students, we have put together some FREE resources to explore and learn more about Cybersecurity.
The course "Cybersecurity for Everyone" addresses the universal impact of cybersecurity on the delivery of products and services. It aims to help participants—regardless of their technical background—understand key issues in cybersecurity, including technical foundations, policy considerations, governance, privacy, and risk management. Designed for both novices and those with some experience, the course provides insights into current debates and the broader business context of cybersecurity, benefiting a wide range of professionals.
Organizational security is crucial, and every staff member plays a key role in defending against cyber threats. A comprehensive security-awareness training initiative is essential for protecting the organization. This foundational training program covers a wide range of topics suitable for various end-users and skill levels, enabling organizations to effectively safeguard their information assets against potential threats.
Phishing is a cyber attack where attackers impersonate legitimate organizations to trick individuals into providing sensitive information, such as passwords or financial details. This often occurs through deceptive emails that appear to be from trusted sources. Email scams can take various forms, including fake invoices, lottery notifications, or urgent requests for help. These scams aim to manipulate recipients into clicking malicious links or attachments, ultimately leading to data breaches or financial loss. Awareness and caution are key to recognizing and avoiding these threats.
