5.2.3lp1 Adult Education Program Application Fee Waiver

Lanier Technical College will waive the application fee for all students who obtain their GED through Lanier Tech effective January 2, 2007 and for all Accelerating Opportunities Students. This waiver will be good for six months only.
- This offer is available to students who receive passing scores on the GED Test on or after January 2, 2007.
- This offer is available to Accelerating Opportunites (AO) students who meet the criteria for admission to the AO program.
- The student must staple the "Application Fee Waiver Certificate" to the front of the LTC Application for Admission form.
- The student's GED instructor will fill out the certificate, which can be e-mailed to the student or picked up by the student.
- It will be the responsibility of the student to request the waiver from the lead instructor.
- The certificate will have an expiration date which will be the last day of the 6th month following the month the student shows up on the Pass List. For example, if the student if listed on the January pass list, the expiration date will be July 31.
- The certificate is non-transferable and has no cash value.
- Application fees cannot be refunded. A waiver submitted after the Application for Admission has been submitted will not be honored. ( For instance, if the student has paid the $15 application , the waiver cannot be used to get a refund.)
- Certificates will be issued a number by the center.
