Neither faculty nor students are to bring pets to class or to leave pets unsupervised on campus while attending class. If a student does not follow this policy, you should ask the student to leave your class and to make provisions for his or her pet. Students who violate this policy may be charged with a violation of the Student Code of Conduct.
Service animals are welcomed on campus, as outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act. Police K-9 units are permitted on campus. Animals may not be left unattended on campus or inside vehicles while attending class or while conducting college-related business. The college reserves the right to contact local authorities if animals are left unattended in vehicles.
Neither faculty nor students are to bring pets or Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) to campus. Faculty and staff are expected to address violations of this policy by requiring the student to leave the class and make provisions for their pet or ESA. Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary action under the Student Code of Conduct.

For the safety and well-being of students, staff, and animals, the college reserves the right to contact local authorities if unattended animals are discovered in vehicles or other areas on campus.
