Howard E. Ivester Early College received a visit from Lanier Tech’s Mobile Simulation Unit. This Medical Simulation Unit provides students with simulated medical scenarios. LTC Dual-Enrolled, Nurse Aide students participated in clinical labs with a high-fidelity mannequin inside the Unit. Due to COVID-19, Nurse Aide students have not been able to complete clinical hours in local nursing homes. Many of these students will graduate from their high schools in May in addition to receiving their Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate from LTC. The Mobile Simulation Unit will continue to benefit many of LTC’s Allied Health Programs in the future.
