The Lanier Technical College Criminal Justice Technology Program provides an in-depth experience by focusing on social sciences related to policing, corrections, juvenile justice and the theory of criminal law. All programs are designed to meet the current trends in criminal justice with a flexible classroom and online-based curriculum that lead to many pathways into the multidisciplinary field of law enforcement. Our Criminal Justice Certificate, Diploma and Degree programs include internships and various hands-on training opportunities to provide students with a well-organized, outcome-focused learning experience.

The Emergency Management Program offers courses that directly align with the mission of the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and the Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) to prevent and mitigate natural and man-made emergencies.

The Fire Science Technology Program offers a full complement of courses that closely align with the current trends of the fire service. Lanier Technical College Fire Science Technology is committed to recognizing professional accomplishments and technical competencies while exceeding national standards. The Fire Science Technology Program provides entry-level training and national certification testing for students planning a career in Fire and Emergency Medical Services. These certifications are through the Firefighter I Certificate and Firefighter/EMSP Diploma programs. The Firefighter II Certificate, Fire Science Technology Diploma and Fire Science Technology Degree Programs offer advanced training for professional development and career advancement.
